Overview
NOTARA ("the App") is a notepad application developed by Kelthos Inc. Your privacy matters deeply to us. This policy explains how we handle your data — spoiler: we don't collect any.
Data We Collect
None. NOTARA stores all your notes locally on your device using SharedPreferences. We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on our servers.
- No accounts or sign-ups — the app works without any login
- No analytics or tracking — we don't use analytics SDKs
- No advertising — there are no ads in the app
- No network requests — the app works 100% offline
Data Storage
Your notes are saved exclusively to your device's local storage using Android SharedPreferences. This data is:
- Stored only on your device
- Not synced to any cloud service
- Not accessible to Kelthos or any third party
- Deleted when you uninstall the app or clear app data
Permissions
NOTARA requests no special permissions. The app does not access your camera, microphone, contacts, location, or files.
Third-Party SDKs
The app includes the following SDKs:
Flutter Framework
Google's UI framework. Does not collect user data in release builds unless explicitly configured.
share_plus
Enables sharing notes to other apps. Only activated when you explicitly tap the share button. No data is transmitted to NOTARA's servers.
Data Deletion
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you can delete your data at any time by:
- Deleting individual notes within the app
- Clearing the app's data via Android Settings → Apps → NOTARA → Clear Data
- Uninstalling the app (removes all data)

Children's Privacy
NOTARA does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Since the app collects no data at all, this is inherently satisfied.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
